DESCRIPTION
Loading surface for a trunk of a vehicle.
The present invention relates to a loading surface for a luggage compartment of a vehicle, which comprises a body that can be placed in two positions.
Background of the invention
Traditionally the cargo surfaces of the trunk of automobile vehicles only allowed the cargo to be deposited at a single height level with respect to the base of the trunk.
The lack of surface and the disposition of these trunks presented as inconvenient to offer little ergonomic positions in the loading and unloading of luggage and other equipment and objects inside the trunk, by not allowing a separation of the different objects, producing disorder during the loading and manipulation of these objects and, above all, during the movement of the vehicle.
As a solution to the indicated problem, in the last years different configurations have been used to, on the one hand, order the load in an ideal way inside the room defined in the trunk and, on the other hand, facilitate the work of loading and handling of luggage and other objects loaded inside the trunk.
When this loading surface is rigid, the best solution is to make it articulated, with a flap on the front. In this way, a loading surface is achieved that can be located in different positions inside the trunk: adjacent to the boot floor, in a higher position with respect to the boot floor, in an inclined position ... This diversity of positions is achieved , in part, thanks to the articulated flap of the loading surface. By having this articulation between the flap and the body of the loading surface, it is not possible to turn the loading surface to use it on both sides, because the joint only allows rotation or articulation in one direction. In the opposite direction of rotation, a longer movement of the flap with respect to its horizontal position is blocked.
An example of a loading surface of this type is described in document ES 2472293

A1, of the same holder as the present application, which describes a loading surface for a trunk with a flap that allows different positions inside the trunk. However, this document does not describe any removable body with respect to the loading surface that allows to increase even more the versatility of the use of the trunk of a vehicle.
Therefore, the present invention aims to solve the aforementioned drawbacks, providing a loading surface provided with a removable body with respect to the loading surface that allows to increase the possibilities of use of the loading floor, being more robust for all types of objects located on the cargo surface, expanding the possibilities of using the trunk of the vehicle.
Description of the invention
With the loading surface of the present invention, the aforementioned drawbacks are resolved, presenting other advantages that will be described below.
The present invention relates to a cargo surface for a trunk of a vehicle, where the cargo surface comprises a main body and a flap, where the flap is rotatable with respect to one end of the main body, in which the cargo surface it comprises a removable body, where the removable body at least partially covers the main body, and where the removable body is attachable to the main body in a first position, so that a second surface of the removable body contacts the main body, and where the removable body is attachable to the main body in a second position, so that a first surface of the removable body contacts the main body.
Thus, the loading surface according to the present invention comprises a second removable body or body, which comprises the particularity of being reversible. In this way. This feature is advantageous since the user can use either a first surface or a second surface. In this way, the first surface can be provided with characteristics or properties that are totally different from those of the second surface. Thus, the user of the vehicle can choose which use suits him according to his needs.
It is important to note that the loading surface comprises a main body and a

flap. The fact that the flap exists, prevents the entire loading surface from being reversible. The reason is that, in the case of rotating the entire loading surface, the flap would prevent locating the loading surface in a plurality of positions, due to the articulation between the main body and the flap, which allows rotation only in one direction.
According to one embodiment, the coupling is by means of at least a first element with magnetic properties arranged in the removable body and by at least a second element with magnetic properties arranged in the main body, although preferably the coupling is carried out by a plurality of first and second elements with magnetic properties. The use of at least one element with magnetic properties allows a retention of the removable body with respect to the main body of the loading surface, as well as a centering of the removable body with respect to the main body, facilitating the manipulation of the removable body by the user .
Preferably, the at least one first element with magnetic properties comprises at least a first magnet and the at least one second element with magnetic properties comprises at least a second magnet, where the at least a first magnet and the at least a second magnet can be identical to each other. A preferred embodiment is thus described, where identical magnets are used with each other. This point is beneficial since it guarantees that the magnets are positioned unequivocally and accurately, forcing the centering of the removable body with respect to the loading surface.
Advantageously, the at least one first element with magnetic properties comprises a polarity substantially equal to a polarity of the at least one second element with magnetic properties. Polarity of an element with magnetic properties is understood as the fact that one side is North and the other is South. Thus, if the first element with magnetic properties is complementary to the second element with magnetic properties, it implies having the same polarization or distribution of the poles. This will advantageously produce an attraction between the bodies, so that retention and centering of the removable body with respect to the main body is achieved.
The transition of the removable body from the first position to the second position preferably comprises a rotation of the removable body in an axis substantially parallel to a direction of advance of the vehicle, although it could be carried out in any suitable manner.

According to a preferred embodiment, the removable body is a substantially flat surface, where the first surface is opposite the second surface.
For example, the removable body preferably has a substantially rectangular or quadrangular plate shape, the first surface being one of the faces of the plate and the second surface the opposite face of the plate. Thus, the transition of the removable body from the first position to the second position comprises a rotation of the removable body of 180 °.
The boot can comprise a first side liner and a second side liner arranged on each side of the trunk, and the removable body preferably comprises at least a first element with magnetic properties arranged adjacent to the first side liner and at least a third element with magnetic properties arranged adjacent to the second side liner, and because the main body comprises at least a second element with magnetic properties disposed adjacent to the first side liner and at least a fourth element with magnetic properties arranged adjacent to the second side liner.
Advantageously, the at least one first element with magnetic properties comprises a polarity substantially equal to a polarity of at least a second element with magnetic properties, and because the at least a third element with magnetic properties comprises a polarity substantially equal to a polarity of the at least a fourth element with magnetic properties.
According to a possible embodiment, the at least one first element with magnetic properties comprises a polarity substantially opposite to the polarity of the at least a third element with magnetic properties, and because the at least a second element with magnetic properties comprises a substantially polarity opposite to the polarity of at least a fourth element with magnetic properties.
That is, the polarity of the magnets on one side of the removable body is reversed with respect to the magnets on the other side of the removable body, so that, when moving from the first position to the second position of the removable body, or vice versa, each magnet of the removable body is attracted by a magnet of the main body.
As is known, any magnet has two different polarities, called positive and
5

negative or north and south, so that two equal polarities repel each other and two different polarities attract each other In the present invention, the magnets are arranged, for example, one in each corner of the main body and the removable body so that when the removable body is placed on the main body in any of its first or second position, the magnets will attract each other.
If desired, the first surface of the removable body is covered with a textile material, whose function is to provide a good visual finish, an aspect of comfort and quality in the surface finish. In this way, you get an appearance consistent with that of the rest of the trunk.
For example, the main body can be a cardboard structure in the form of a honeycomb panel completely covered by PUR (rigid polyurethane foam) and fiberglass. Subsequently it is lined with textile material, for example carpet, providing the necessary stiffness and strength, as well as a good surface finish.
In addition, the second surface of the removable body can be substantially impermeable, for example, of PP (polypropylene) and fiberglass or PVC (polyvinylchloride) or EPDM (ethylene propylene diene type M ASTM). Thus, the second surface of waterproof material, allows the transport of objects and products that could damage or dirty the loading surface. It is thus observed that the user can choose if he prefers to use the first surface or the second surface, with properties and characteristics very different from each other, advantageously adapting the cargo surface to the needs imposed by the cargo transported by the trunk.
Advantageously, the second surface of the removable body preferably comprises a projection disposed on the perimeter of the removable body, where the projection protrudes from the second surface. In this way, liquids or dirt are retained within the waterproof zone, without dirtying the rest of the boot.
On the other hand, the main body comprises a groove arranged in the perimeter of the main body, so that the groove houses the projection, the removable body being in the second position of coupling to the main body. Therefore, when the second surface contacts the main body, the main body comprises a groove capable of accommodating the projection, so that a perfect coupling is made between the main body and the removable body, both bodies being properly coupled and flush .

In addition, the flap can comprise a textile material covering, where the coating at least partially covers the end of the main body adjacent to the flap, so that the flap is rotatable with respect to the main body by the action of the coating.
It should also be noted that the loading surface is movable between a plurality of positions in the trunk of the vehicle, where the flap occupies different positions relative to the main body in the plurality of positions of the loading surface in the trunk of the vehicle.
As mentioned, the rotation of the flap with respect to the main body is only in one direction. This feature is advantageous for having a good resistance of the loading surface in the plurality of positions inside the boot, even when loading objects are located above the loading surface, the flap being adjacent to the loading surface. At the same time, the coating allows rotation of the flap to enable the loading surface to be located in a variety of positions, such as an inclined position of the loading surface, the flap being folded with respect to the surface of the load.
Therefore, the loading surface of the present invention comprises the characteristic of being able to occupy a plurality of different positions within the trunk, including elevated or inclined positions, and also the characteristic of being able to modify the type of surface on which the user can Support the objects to be loaded in the trunk of the vehicle.

Description of a preferred realization
An exemplary embodiment of the loading surface according to the present invention, indicated in general by reference number 9, is shown in the figures.
The loading surface 9 comprises a main body 1 and a rotating flap 2 with respect to said main body 1, a removable body 3 being placed on the main body 1, totally or partially covering the main body 1. If desired, the flap 2 can be covered with a coating 21, for example, of carpet.
Said removable body 3, according to the embodiment shown, is formed from a rectangular or quadrangular planar plate, defining a first surface 32 and a second surface 33, opposite each other, so that the removable body 3 can be placed on the main body 1 with its first surface 32 or its second surface 33 in contact with the main body 1.
Figures 1 and 3 show the position in which the second surface 33 is in contact with the main body 1, that is, with its first surface 32 seen, while Figures 2 and 4 show the position in which the first surface 32 is in contact with the main body 1.
The first and second surfaces 32, 33 preferably have different characteristics, for example, the first surface 32 may be covered with carpet, while the second surface 33 may be impermeable. In this way, with a

The only removable body 3 can obtain a differentiated load surface. For example, if you want to place an object in the trunk that can stain or wet the removable body 3, it will preferably be placed with its first surface 32 in contact with the main body 1, so that this object will be in contact with the second surface 33, which can be easily cleaned or dried.
To avoid unwanted displacement of the removable body 3 with respect to the main body 1, both bodies 1, 3 comprise elements with complementary magnetic properties, for example, magnets.
The figures show four magnets 11, 14, 15, 16 for the main body 1 and four magnets 31, 34, 36 and 39 for the removable body 3, although any suitable number of magnets could be used.
Advantageously, said magnets are identical to each other and, according to the embodiment shown, are arranged near the corners of said main and removable bodies 3.
As can be seen in the figures, to change the removable body 3 from one position to the other, it is necessary to turn said removable body 180 ° 3. For this reason, it is necessary that the polarity of the magnets be adequate, so that Magnets always exert their attraction. Figures 3 and 4 show the detail of the magnets, and show their north (N) and south (S) polarity. As can be seen, in both positions, the north pole (N) of a magnet is placed in front of the south pole (S) of its complementary magnet, or vice versa, so that there is always a magnetic attraction between the complementary magnets.
More in detail and in reference to the main body 1, the magnets 11 and 16 have the same polarity. This polarity is opposite to that of magnets 14 and 15. On the other hand, the magnets of the removable body 3 are superimposed on the magnets of the main body 1 and comprise the same orientation of their poles as those of the main body 1. In this way , making a 180 ° turn in the direction of advance of the vehicle, the magnets of the removable body 3 that are superimposed on the magnets of the main body 1, are always attracted, so that in both positions the centering and retention is correctly performed of the removable body 3 with respect to the main body 1.
In order to favor the retention of liquids and dirt, the removable body 3 comprises
5

twenty

a perimeter projection 38, so that it essentially covers the entire edge of the removable body 3, favoring that the rest of the boot is not soiled. To facilitate the placement of the removable body 3 on the main body 1 in its most usual position, shown in figures 1 and 3, the perimeter projection 38, is housed inside a groove 35 of said main body 1.
The electromagnetic field generated by the magnets of the present invention must comprise a module sufficient to retain the removable body 3 in the main body 1 in the face of sudden accelerations and decelerations. In addition, it must comprise a module sufficient to attract the removable body 3, even when the magnets 39 and 36 are not in direct contact with the magnets 16 and 15 of the main body 1, as can be seen in the detail of the figure 4. On the other hand, the generated electromagnetic field module should facilitate the separation of the removable body 3 from the main body 1, requiring a coherent and feasible effort by the user in his intention to modify the position of the removable body 3 from a First position to a second position.
It should be noted that the main body 1 may comprise a handle 13 to facilitate its manipulation tasks. In this case, the removable body 3 comprises a hole 37 complementary to said handle 13.
In its usual position, the removable body 3 is placed in the position shown in Figures 1 and 3. In this position, the user can remove the removable body 3 by stretching it to overcome the action of the magnets.
Once the removable body 3 has been removed, to place it in its other position, simply turn it 180 ° and place it on the main body 1, so that thanks to the arrangement and the polarity of the magnets, they will also act in this other position, shown in figures 2 and 4.
Although reference has been made to a specific embodiment of the invention, it is evident to one skilled in the art that the described loading surface is susceptible to numerous variations and modifications, and that all the mentioned details can be substituted by others technically equivalent, without departing from the scope of protection defined by the appended claims.
